‘Period of Notice’ – When a student leaves Primo Piano we require half a term’s notice or payment of half a term’s fees in lieu of notice. This period of notice is to enable us to efficiently plan our group activities to the convenience of all our parents.

‘Catch Up’ lessons (Group Lessons, Shared Lessons and Private Lessons)We are unable to offer refunds or credits for missed lessons. If a child misses a lesson, a practice update is sent out by text or email. If a child misses two sessions in a half term block a ‘catch up’ lesson will be offered. This will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time during the subsequent holiday break. Typically, two day are put aside in each holiday break for this purpose.

Additional costs -Your child will need a piano or piano keyboard to practice on. Please see our advice on choosing a suitable instrument.

Music books – Typically around £10-15 a year

Assessments (group sessions) – We have an in-house assessment system. There are around two assessments each year and there is a £10 assessment fee which covers the cost of administration, report writing and the special assessment badge awarded to each student.
